About The Presenter

Marisa Griffin

Marisa Griffin teaches at an alternative educational setting for students identified as having severe to profound disabilities at a Title 1 school in Tampa, Florida. Marisa completed her undergraduate work at Florida State University. She is a certified teacher in the areas of Visual Arts and Special Education, with specialized certification in Autism. Her personal art practice involves textile arts and mixed media painting. She is currently pursuing an MA in Art Therapy.
